Re: Southampton request Mike Dean and Lee Mason do not officiate games

And here comes the FA spin, jumping on the social media abuse bandwagon. Apparently had death threats to him and his family and has asked not to officiate in this upcoming weekends round of Premier League matches. So no mention of death threats after the Southampton game? No but West Ham’s naughty fans obviously are nasty pieces of work, this could be a convenient way to remove Dean from the Premier League list after so many high profile fuck ups in the time he’s been a referee (responsible for 7% of all red cards in Premier League history) move him on with the blame on anyone but himself with a big thank you probably an nice touch of a golden handshake etc.

I certainly don't wish his family any ill, but I certainly do wish Dean ill insofar as I would like to see him banned from officiating for ever.

norwaytips 1:59 Mon Feb 8 Re: Southampton request Mike Dean and Lee Mason do not officiate games There has been a lot criticism of this one. Every pundit, that I’ve seen, has called it ridiculous. Both players said it was unintentional. I really can’t see the card being upheld.
Sutton was the only pundit that agreed with Dean !!!!

There must surely be some action taken against Dean and Moss now?
The PGMOL have two people involved in officiating matches that couldn't find their arse with both hands.
Moyes is correct - it is embarrassing, and only the threat of a fine probably prevented him from saying the fucking obvious, that these two cunts need to walk.

Slaphead DIV, cries over some divvy words that a load of other divs have typed out on a DIVVY website.
Great stuff.

I don't think i have ever been more angry and annoyed as i was on Saturday night but to send death threats. Seriously? I am just more worried how the game has gone with VAR and it shows some officials don't understand the game. Bad week for the pair of them but I don't wish them any ill. Bit of perspective needed by some people in life.

Excellent news that the red card has been rescinded.
However, what kind of sad, pathetic moron sends death threats to a referee? Some people take football far too seriously to compensate for their sad, pathetic little lives!

Soucek red card overturned Man Utd v West Ham (Tues, 19:30 GMT)
Simon Stone
BBC Sport
West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek has been cleared to play in Tuesday's FA Cup tie at Manchester United after his controversial red card was overturned.
It was the second decision in five days involving Mike Dean and Lee Mason that has been changed.
There were not many who agreed with the weekend call, although Hammers manager David Moyes didn't absolve Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who went down screaming and holding his face after the slightest of touches.
